FAQ
What does click life do?
We enable you to make a positive impact on the world through the online media. By signing petitions, clicking on our causes, using the search engine and staying informed with our news updates, together we can create a better world. ClickLife aims to add more social activism facilities in the future. It's just a matter of time :-)
Click life is involved in four main activities:-
1) raising money for charity through our Click to Give homepage.
2) Providing an online facility for people to use to take part in petitions on whatever cause they wish
3) Facilitating a search engine that raises money for charity each time a search is made from the ClickLife website. 4) Bringing relevant news articles from around the world into one simple to use source.
How does clicking work?
Each time you click on a charitable cause from our homepage, you are lead to the cause page that hosts 3 large banner adverts. Each time that page is viewed, those advertisers pay us a small amount of money that we send on to charity
So, who actually donates the money?
Our advertisers pay us each time their advert is viewed and we then pass this money on directly to charity. Neither the user nor the charity has to pay anything to ClickLife
How much money does each click raise?
This depends on how much the advertiser is willing to pay for each click. The average is 2.5p per click. With 3 adverts, we estimate 7.5p for each click. This may not sound like a lot at first but it all adds up. Every person counts!
But how will 7.5p make a difference?
If 10,000 people click each day, we could raise £218,000 per year for EACH cause. If we have a community of 1million, we could raise £21.8 million per year for each cause. Together we can change the world.
Can I keep clicking on the same cause continuously?
Our contract with sponsors allows us to count one click per person each day. Repetitive clicking isn’t fair to the sponsor so we don’t endorse it.
How do the searches work?
Each time you make a search from the ClickLife search engine (powered by Google), Google pay us a small amount. However, searches from the results page won’t generate money.
Clicking on a cause gives money to a certain charity, but who gets the money from the searches?
The money raised from the searches gets split evenly amongst all of our affiliated charities. Some of the money goes back into developing ClickLife further, improving it to make each ad space more valuable; generating more money for charity in the future.
What is a petition?
A petition is a formally drawn request, often bearing the names of a number of those making the request that is addressed to a person or group of persons in authority or power, soliciting some favor, right, mercy, or other benefit (Oxford Dictionary).
I created a new petition. Why didn’t my petition get displayed?
We may reject a petition request if it is in breach of our terms of use. If your petition request was denied, you will receive an explanation personally.
I cannot find the petition section. where is it?
Once you click on a cause in the center of our homepage, the next page will provide the link to the petition section above the box shaped advert...enjoy :)
How do I know this is real?
We have an agreement with our charitable beneficiaries, informing them about our work and contribution. We keep them updated monthly about our progress, forecasting and payments. To find those charities, visit our “who we support” page and click on the links to their websites.
What charities do you support?
To view a complete list of our charitable beneficiaries, go to the 'who we support' page. New charities are added to the list frequently to increase the spread of Life
Can I make a suggestion to click life?
ABSOLOUTELY! We appreciate and admire any sincere suggestions. Simply send an email to hq@clicklife.org
Is click life a not-for-profit organization?
We are a for-profit organization so we cannot accept direct donations. All our beneficiaries are charities and we send the money to them ASAP.
